We hope that 2015 has been treating you well.
Our year has been very busy. Some of you may have experienced excessive delays when waiting for services and difficulty getting through on the busy phone lines. We certainly appreciate your patience and do apologize for the difficulty. Please know that we are working toward improving the efficiency.
Here is the good news AND the bad news:
We are experiencing some growing pains.
Growing is a great thing. You are helping us achieve our mission and we are serving an all-time high number of pets and their families! The tough part is that in order to deliver maximum quality of care and service, we need to maintain our training (new staff is required to grow) and facility, review our procedures and policies, preserve our team and client communications, and we have to take care of our staff. Our environment can be physically, emotionally and mentally challenging. We want to continue to deliver the very best care and service to you and your furry friends!
To this end, temporarily, this means that we will need to adjust our hours in the following way:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday between 1pm and 3pm we will not be taking walk-ins. We will see walk-ins in the morning until 1pm and again from 3pm until 8pm.
Thursdays, we will be open for prescription and food pick up from 8:30-noon and again from 4pm until 8pm. We will be closed from noon to 4pm. We will not have doctor hours on Thursdays.
Saturdays and Sundays remain unchanged.
Healthy Pet Happy Hour appointments are still available. These will be Monday and Tuesday evenings and Sunday mornings. Please call ahead to schedule.
We feel that the long term benefits of these adjustments will outweigh the temporary inconvenience. We do apologize for any inconvenience and will let you know as soon as we are able to resume the regular hours. We anticipate keeping the adjusted hours for a month or two.
In the meanwhile, if you do experience frustration or have any constructive criticism or suggestions, please feel free to share with us. If you catch our staff doing a great job and helping you take excellent care of your pet, please let us know! A little encouragement goes a very long way!
Just to keep you encouraged and sharing our enthusiasm for the future, you may know that we have outgrown our present location already. We will keep you posted regarding our new home which will still be in San Marco!
Stay tuned, and thank you so much for your continued support!
